Certification is mandatory in Annapolis City, Baltimore City, Baltimore, Fairfax, Howard, Montgomery and Prince George’s counties. Certification is valid for three years in Maryland and DC. Five years in Virginia. We are proud to feature food safety education and certification programs for employees and managers for the National Registry of Food Safety professionals(NRFSP), utilizing training materials from the National Environmental Health Association (NEHA) and ServSafe® of The National Restaurant Association Educational Foundation.
